An Activity-Filled Summer with Fun and Learning!
At Happy Hearts Children’s Center, our Summer Camp is packed with excitement and fun, and it’s not just about play — it’s about learning too! We offer a wide range of activities that keep kids entertained while also revisiting some of the things they learned throughout the year. Our summer camp is designed to keep the kids active, engaged, and ready for the upcoming school year!

What Happens at Summer Camp?

Each week of camp is filled with special activities that help kids have a blast while learning about the world and their community. Here are some of the fun adventures your child will experience during our summer camp:

  • Movie Days: Once a week, we take the kids to the theater to enjoy a movie with their friends!
  • Splash Days: We have water fun with splash days that cool us off and give us a chance to enjoy water activities on hot summer days.
  • Picnics: We love to get outside for a picnic and enjoy a snack in the fresh air with our friends.
  • Chuck E. Cheese Trip: A visit to Chuck E. Cheese for games and pizza is always a favorite! It’s a day filled with fun and excitement.

Learning About the World

Each week, we introduce a new country from one of the seven continents. Kids will learn fun facts about different cultures, food, and traditions. At the end of the week, they’ll:

Learn a Dance

We teach the children a traditional dance from the country we learned about.

Prepare a Snack

The kids get hands-on and help prepare a snack from that country, learning about food traditions from around the world.

Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Summer camp is also a great time to refresh what we’ve learned throughout the year! Our Pre-K kids will review important skills like math and literacy to make sure they’re ready for kindergarten and ahead of the class. This way, our Pre-K kids are well-prepared and confident for their next big step in education!

Spa Day in Summer Camp!

We also have special days like Spa Day where the kids get to relax and unwind! On Spa Day, the children enjoy making face masks, painting their nails, and simply having fun and relaxing with friends. It’s a wonderful way to balance all the busy fun with some calming activities!
