What We Teach

Our curriculum is kindergarten-based.  Children are grouped by age and our teaching is age-appropriate.  We follow the Pinnacle Learning method.  We start at the toddler level and go all the way to pre-school level.  As the toddlers grow to the 2-year mark, they are moved to the 2’s room.  There they get to do more hands-on activities, more arts and craft and start to get into learning alphabets and numbers.

Infant care program

Caterpillars (6 weeks to 16 months):

Our infant program supports a child’s physical and emotional needs in our nurturing and caring environment.  Our focus is on children’s safety and well-being.  In these children we develop a routine for sleeping, feeding, tummy time, singing and reading.  They are also taken outside in strollers.  A set routine also makes life easier for parents when they care for them on weekends and holidays.

Lady Bugs (16 months to 24 months):

At this age our toddlers have become proud little people with heads high in the air and the world under their feet.  Some have just started to walk and others have just started to run.  They start their day with circle time where they learn about the world around them.  They learn the basics:  alphabets, numbers, shapes and colors.  They wind up their day singing, dancing, doing puzzles and listening to stories.  We provide them with material to explore, absorb and learn at their own pace.

These activities build their confidence and develop communication skills.  We start the day with exercise, followed by circle time.  Our objective is to motivate them grow emotionally through reading and learning.  Throughout the day our teachers work on a wide range of activities focused on learning through play.  During Circle Time they learn about:

Dragon Flies (3 years to 4 years):

Our 3-year-olds work with a variety of materials to build on what they have already learned in earlier classes.  Now is the time to read more advanced material and start writing.  Also, of utmost importance is computers in our technology-driven society.  We introduce computer learning.  The class in divided into smaller groups where each child is given the opportunity to participate hands-on.  They also start writing numbers and letters.  Here we also introduce Spanish as a second language.  Working on the motto that healthy body makes healthy human beings we start the day with exercise.  Circle time follows; children learn about letters, numbers, concept and theme for that week.  Each day they learn:
